Another Thankful Friday

Today we took time to participate in thanking each other for supporting each other in learning. After hearing how everyone was feeling and how everyone was thankful we worked on our Hearing and Sound Slide Show which has many criteria to meet. After working for some time we moved on to Auction 6, where we had to do a reflection on the Seven Sacred Teachings. We had an extra gym today and we got to play whatever we wanted.

Field trip information is below. We will need some parents to help on that day.

Your child has the opportunity to attend a full day off-site activity to the Arts Commons which is located at 205 8th Ave. SE and the Calgary Central Library which is located at 800 3^rd st. SE.  The Off-Site Activity will occur Tuesday, February 25^th. The students will be transported for the activity by Southland Transportation.  All students are required to be at the school at 8:15 am.  The bus will leave at 8:30 am. Students will be dropped off at Arts Commons and spend half of the day there. At Arts Commons, students will participate in an art related and journaling activity. They will then walk to the Calgary Central Library for the remainder of the trip. At the Calgary Central Library, students will also journal and spend time exploring the building. The bus will depart from the Arts Commons site at 2:15 pm and return to school at 3:00 pm.
