Conversations About the Coronavirus

This morning many students brought up concerns about the Coronavirus. One student said that the Coronavirus comes from eating bats and this brought up many questions for us. We learned that one of our student's grandparents are in China but are healthy right now.  So we did some research and learned some facts about the virus. We learned that the virus started in an unknown animal and spread to humans. The symptoms are similar to a respiratory infection. Wearing a mask can help stop the spread if you are infected but is not necessary if you are not.
Homework: Ask your parents about some facts about the Coronavirus.
