This morning we learned that kind actions that help others are a form of citizenship. To be good citizens we decided to inform other classes in our school about Flag Day. We made our own Canadian Flags using precise measurements and correct dimensions. On the back of these Flags we wrote messages telling classes about what Flag Day is and why we're celebrating. This was a lot of work and students worked on demonstrating citizenship while creating the flags and keeping track of which classes still needed a flag.
Homework: Discuss with your parents what it means to be Canadian to them.
